  • I have been using the Logitech G series for a number of years and the G500 I have now has issues with buttons and the wheel. The G5 I had before that was a much better mouse. I am looking at new mice as I think it might be better to replace than repair. I have had Razor mice before and the quality was ok.(Original Boomslang). Any suggestions?

  • The king daddy of all gaming mice were most definitely the G series from Logitech. As you all know, I used the G9 and G9x since it was introduced back in 2007. I was still using it until the cord went out in it. Unfortunately they don't make it anymore. Two things I loved about this mouse: 1. claw style grip for better accuracy 2. weight tray to make it heavier (again for better accuracy). Until a nice claw style mouse comes into being, I'll be repairing my mouse for as long as I can.

  • My favorite gaming mouse is by far the G9x it has a wide grip and very accurate, the only bad thing about is that the wire gets warn out and goes bad, I repaired it many times but it will never gets back to its original feel and smoothness and since it's discontinued I decided to try something new, now I have the G602 it's wireless the accuracy is ok compare to the G9x and the grip is not that great but in my opinion it's one of the top 5 out there, I'm experiencing slit jumping when I move around but I my computer has been acting out lately so I don't know if it's the mouse or the PC it self, I will know by the end of the week when I get my new motherboard.

In my opinion the G9x is still the best mouse out there, I might keep the G602 for work and try to find a new G9x on ebay.

  • Currently I have to spray the inside of the mouse wheel with canned air and it works for a while. The mouse then goes away. It seems I can not scroll forward for weapons selections and that is my natural movement. Scrolling backwards changes weapons but it is too late once I discover the problem and I have to adjust from that point on. When the mouse works it is great.

  • I have been using A4Tech mice for the last year. They seem to work very well.

  • That is the old one and I spent more time than it is worth fixing it. For some reason Boomslangs are now legendary.... I went to the Logitech G5 from there and then to the G500.
