This Go's for any one now I will use your work and also give you a name in the by line as well when I finish the map I'm looking for a lot of more vivid textures for walls floors grass every thing I have a lot of stuff in the works that mostly need textures to finish out

  • I got my PC laptop back working now, so I can start working them. If you could post them, or get with me on MSN I'll work them ASAP.

  • Ok, so looking at the floor textures they don't look too bad.

Do you just need normal maps so they have a 3d dimension?

  • Most of the difference for UT3 is in plugging in different channels to the base textures. I don't think the textures themselves look bad, but they lack the 3D quality you would expect from UT3. Are we on the same page of thought on this? ;)

I made normal maps for the floor textures. Try the two and plug in the normal map and then add a bit of specularity to the texture and see if they look better now.

Otherwise we can hunt down some photorealistic textures like these:

  • 3D quality is what I'm looking for they seem flat if you look at the shots for ctf face you will see they look kind of flat no depth to them I planed on changing out the textures to boath maps if you can give them a 3d look to them I'm downloading the packs sample looks unchanged flat I had photo realistic on my raid thanks for another copy.......... needed that I will look through them and see if I can find anything in it but looking through it looks like they are a flat shot as well

  • Yeah they will be flat. A normal map will make them pop, along with some specularity and they should look tons better.
