  • What gaming mouse do you have? I was using the Logitech G502 and tried giving it a chance, but ultimately I went back to the Logitech G9x a few weeks ago. It's the only mouse for me. I'm currently looking for reasonable G9x mice online to purchase. I'd like to get a few used ones for parts and at least one new in box. They're still around, but their price has skyrocketed! Here it is:

    Windows 10 Pro, Intel® Core™ i7-6700K 8M Skylake Quad-Core 4.0 GHz 1151 Unlocked, MSI Z170A Gaming M7, MSI GeForce GTX 970 4GB Gaming 4G, 16GB G.Skill Ripjaws V Series DDR4, Creative Labs Sound Blaster Zx soundcard, Logitech® G9x Laser Mouse, 850 EVGA Supernova PSU.

  • Funny thing.. I am currently using the Logitech G502. For a brief moment I was using the G9x and it was stolen from me by a hawk in the night!!!!

    :D

The G502 is a pretty nice mouse, honestly. It is a different feel for sure, but I'm pretty used to it now and happy with it.

  • it use to be for $50-$60 before but it got discontinued by logitech, so the few left are being sold for a much higher price due to the high demands I presume.

  • I just received my G9x. It has the original feet, cord and scroll wheel. It's in much better condition than the one I was using. I'm also buying a brand new in box G9x and keep it for the future use. I'll continuing buying them up if I get a good deal.

  • I looked them up. They aren't cheap here..I was so surprised. I am tempted to sell mine..lol. NOT! But I will be taking really good care of it for sure, I don't see myself spending over $300 for a mouse no matter how much I love it. I hope you got a better deal south of the border. :)

  • For those that want a great G9x replacement, this is the only contender I've found. You can adjust the mouse to a more flatten position like the G9x and if you notice the back side is flat (overhead view) and from the side view you can see it tapers inward just like the G9x.

Let me know what you think?

  • For those of you that have the G9x, please wiggle your mouse from side to side and let me know if you hear it rattle a bit. Every G9x I've owned did this. Tonight I took some black electrical tape and placed several layers inside the plastic grip housing. It eliminated the rattle and made it much smoother for me. :)
